So you finally received your delivery of food, promised for last week , that went to 3 different depots around the province ...
best would be some few measures to take before you eat it ...
1-Leave the box by the door, maybe in a plastic bag, sprinkled with salt and baking Soda
2-After few hours, unpack items from the box and bring them to your kitchen, but not the box
3-Wash All your items packaging, wipe or rinse
4-Let sit with sprinkled Salt and Baking Soda
5-Place in your pantry with Salt and Baking Soda around and on top
6-If not sure about the content ... Re-jar the food in a glass jar or in a bowl ... rinse with boiled water, let sit in boiled water, Salt, Lemon Juice and Baking Soda (this last one might give a taste so rinse before use but it is an anti-fungal)
When ready to use ... rinse ... now it is the time to season it :)
