For my indoor greenhouse i was going to order lettuce seeds vegetables and then i was going to forget about the other vegetables because how can carrots and cucumber grow in a small greenhouse ? ... good news ... most vegetables we eat are the actual fruit of the plant ... like cucumber, pepper, tomatoes and carrots ... some from the flower and some from the root ... and then we toss in the green bin all the rest ... but what i found out is that in most vegetables, the whole plant is comestible, mostly in the form of sprouts ... sprouts are the first leaves that grow out of the soil after the seed germinate ... and full of nutrients !!! Now I will not toss good food in the bin anymore :)
Also sprouts take no time or space ... they are ready to eat from almost any seeds or beans in few days ... delicious in salad, boiled or on pasta ... *** Some need to be cook so check first before you eat them :)
